Step1. Warm up 

1. Greeting

2. T: Today we’ll go on to learn U4 Hobbies.

3. T: First, let’s sing a song: We all like climbing.

4. Free talk:

    (定格歌曲画面)

T: What do they like doing?

P: They like climbing.

T: Do you like climbing?

   What do you like?

Step 2. Presentation

 1. Play a game: 1 minute–non–stop–talk

2. Review the words

T: I know you know these hobbies very well.

1) Look at the pictures and say the words as quick as you can

2) T:Can you spell these words?

   (闪现书上的六个重点的爱好的单词,特别是学生易记错的或难记住的draw, play the piano, watch film)

3. Play another game:

T: Let’s play another to talk about hobbies

Tips:仔细看闪现的词或词组,如果是你的爱好,请你站起来大声说:I like...

   (游戏结束) T: Well done!

T: sing, dance…, these are all activities, if want to say the hobbies, we should

S: …

   Tips: like后面的动词一定要加ing

T: Now Let’s practice:

I say the verb: run…

   You say its noun: running

4. Do exercise:

T: How many ways we add‘ing’?

   What are they?

S: 总结:1)直接+ing

         2) 去e+ing

         3)双写+ing

5.Ticking time 1---I can talk about hobbies.

6.Use “like doing”

1. Ask and answer

T: If you want to know others’ hobbies, how to ask?

S: What do you like doing?

T: How to answer?

S: I like doing…

T: What should we pay attention?

S: like后面的动词一定要加ing

T: Now let’s know our friends’ hobbies.

-- Ask to your partner

2. Listen and judge (Checkout time 1)

a. Free talk

T: (同桌问答,老师接一两组的问班上学生) What does … like doing?

T: If you ask me about Mike’s hobby, how to ask?

S: What does Mike like doing?

T: How to answer?

S: He likes doing…

T: What’s the difference between “What do you like doing? I like doing…”and “What does … like doing? He likes doing…”

S: …

T: Do you know why?—Talk in pairs

总结:当主语为第三人称单数he/she/…,like一定要加s!(He/She likes doing…)

(此处可增加一个chat来巩固各种人称后like的形式)

b. Say a chant:

Swimming, swimming, I like swimming

Running, running, you like running

Singing, singing, he likes singing.

Dancing, dancing, she likes dancing.

Reading, reading, my father likes reading.

c. Ask and answer

T: (出示checkout time 1图片)Do you know their bobbies? Let’s ask and answer in pairs

d.  Listen and judge

T;Well done!

Now let’s listen to the recorder and judge他们说的是否正确。

(3.) Let’s have a PK

小组比赛:第一排A自我介绍I like...,同桌B介绍A,He/She likes ....,接着第二排以此类推接龙说。

(4.) Think and write:

Look and say (Checkout time 2)

  (5.) Ticking time 2---I can use "like doing".

Step 3 Sound time

1. (出示sound time图片)

T: Look at this girl Fangfang. What does she like doing? Can you guess?

S: She likes wearing yellow.

      板书wear, 教授

      板书yellow ,一生拼读

T: How do you know that? / What does she have?

      若学生回答有困难,教师直接出现提示性句子让学生回答

S: She has yellow shoes,a yellow hat and a yellow dress.

T: What should she say?

S: I have yellow shoes,a yellow hat and a yellow dress.(多请几生尝试、练读)

2. Say the rhyme:

T: Are we right, let’s ask her?

S: Do you like wearing yellow?

T: Now let’s listen to her answer.

1) Listen to the rhyme.

2) Answer: Yes (板书yes , you一生拼读)

3) Follow the recorder, please.(注意节奏和停顿哦)

4) Try to say.

5) Have a PK.

3. Learn the sound:

1) T: Look at the words with red letter. Can you read them?

S: Read---- yes  you  yellow  

T: What’s the pronunciation of the letter‘y’?

   Talk in pairs

S: /j/

2) T: Read after me: /j/ yes --- /j/ you  --- /j/ yellow

   Read together like this.

3) Can you say more words like this?

小组讨论,开启学生思维风暴

(year, young, your, New York…)

教师板书学生所例举的单词,然后全班试读/j/ year ….

4)This time, let’s try to read the new words.

   yet  仍然  yard  院子 yummy  美味的   yo-yo 溜溜球

   Talk in groups---check---read together

4. Do exercise:

1) 读一读,选一选,将下列发/j/音的单词摘如篮子里:

   T: What does the letter ‘y’ pronounced ?

S: /j/

T: Here are some words, please try to find which words have sound /j/.


 

 


   S:  your   yellow   young  year  yes

2)选完后还剩下下列四个词:




 



 


   T: Do they pronounce/j/?   -----  S:No.

      What do they pronounced? ----Talk in pairs

      /ai/ try  bye

      /i/  sixty  hungry

   Tips: 字母y是一个半元音字母,它作为辅音字母发音时就是我们今天所学/j/,

作为元音字母发音则同字母i发音规则一样,发/ai/或/i/。

5. Ticking time 3---I know the sound of the letter”y”

   Step 4. Consolidation

1. T: Now finish these three aims. How many stars can you get?

   S:I can get             stars,

   T: I think most of you get nine stars. Congracuations!

2. Think about:

T: Do you remember what does Fangfang like ding?

S: She likes wearing yellow.

学生回答同时,教师说yes并板书I likes wearing yellow.

T: Fangfang has another hobby, let’s her together.

S: What do you like doing?

(听录音或教师代替回答,接着教师板书I like singing too.

T: She has four friends, let’s ask her

学生一一问芳芳的朋友的爱好What does he/she like doing? What do they like doing?

听录音或教师代替回答,接着板书.

T: (指板书)Now we know about Fangfang and her friends’ hobbies.

   Let’s read together.

3. Think and write (Checkout time 3)

1) T: Can you use the sentences to write about your and your friends’ hobbies?

小组交流

2) Write on page 45

3) 展示或交流一两组。

4. T:They have many hobbies. We have many hobbies. We do these things we like at weekends.

   Hobbies make our life colourful.

Step 4. Homework

1. Listen to the tape, read and try to recite sound time .

2. Talk about you and your friends or parents' hobbies.

3. Talk about what you like doing in different seasons .

4. 熟练说一说加ing的三种方式,并用你所知道的动词试说一说,写一写动词的ing形式。

5. Review this unit.

本课教师利用游戏激活学生思维中已掌握的单词。利用游戏让学生自然习得动词ing形式,并通过说一说来总结ing的三种形式,再通过选一选、写一写来巩固ing形式。围绕I can use "like doing"的教学目标达成来设计,首先通过感知和老师的交流让学生总结关于"like doing"的问答句,并通过了解你的伙伴爱好的问答来巩固,接着老师接住问答的来转问第三者,并通过对比讨论加深对主语是第三人称单数的问答句的认识,尤其三单like加s的问题,再通过看图问答加以巩固。接着通过一个PK游戏让学生对比第一人称和第三人称单数,加强两者不同的进一步认识,最后通过头练习来反馈这块难点的学习情况。
