教学内容:江苏译林版六年级下册Unit 7 Story time

 

教学目标:

1.能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇summer holiday, stay, sound, Disneyland, Ocean Park, Taipei, traveler, travel around the world, different等;

2.能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型Will you ...?及其回答Yes, I will/ No, I won’t.和Where/ When/ How long/ What will you ...?等;

3.理解文本内容的基础上会运用一般将来时态的一般疑问句和特殊疑问句。

 

教学过程:

Step 1 Warming up

1.Play a game: View of China and other countries. T invite S to choose the view of China and other countries. For example Big Ben, Great Wall, Stonehenge and so on.

2.Talk about the summer holiday. T tell S about his favourite holiday, the summer holiday, and ask S if they like the summer holiday.

3.Share the summer holiday. First T introduce his summer holiday to Beijing to S. Then, S share their summer holiday plans with each other.


Step 2 Presentation

1.Look at the picture and guess what they are talking about.

2.Finish Match and say on P70 and try to say “ ... will go ...”

3.Look at picture 1. T ask 3 questions about Mike’s summer holiday plan: Where will Mike go for the holiday? How long will he stay there? What will he do in London?

4.According to the answers, S try to conclude Mike’s plan.

5.T ask 3 questions about Yang Ling’s summer holiday plan: Why will Yang Ling go to Beijing for the holiday? Will she go to Beijing by plane? What does Mike think of her plan?

6.According to the answers, S try to conclude Yang Ling’s plan.

7.Read picture 1 after the tape and try to read in roles.

8.Look at picture 2. T ask S to find the key words and conclude Su Hai’s and Liu Tao’s plan. When S conclude Su Hai’s plan, T introduce Disneyland and Ocean Park. There are many cartoon

characters at Disneyland. There are many kinds of fish in Ocean Park. T ask S if they want to Disneyland or Ocean Park.

9.Read picture 2 after the tape and try to read in roles.


Step 3 Consolidation

1.Happy reading: read by yourself, read in roles or read in groups.

2.Finish Read and write on P70 and try to read together.


Step 4 Homework

1. Read story time more fluently.

2. Share your summer holiday plans with your friends.
