(Story time)

【教学目标】

(一)知识目标

1. 能初步理解对话,并能正确朗读、表演对话。

2. 能听懂、会说、会读下列单词和词组:at weekends, always, sometimes, often, visit, grandparent(s), play with, chat, Internet, cinema。

(二)能力目标

能初步运用所学句型谈论周末活动。

(三)情感目标

通过学习本课,引导学生合理安排业余生活,健康、快乐地度过周末。

Step 1.Free talk

T: What day is it tomorrow?

T: Look at this calendar, we go to school from Monday to Friday. Do we go to school on Saturdays and Sundays?

S:No, we don’t.

T: 教授Saturdays+Sundays=weekends

揭题:Today we’re going to talk about the topic “at weekends”.

Step 2.Pre-reading

1. Look and say

T: What can we do at weekends?

S:学生自由发挥

T:Great! We can do a lot of things at weekends. Let’s have a look.

教授新词汇:play with; chat on the Internet; visit grandparents.

2. Let’s talk

T: What do you do at weekends?

(让学生猜测这个句型的意思,与U5的what do you do进行区分)

师提问2个左右学生作为示范,然后让学生2人一组进行讨论

3. T:What does he do at weekends?(请同学回答之后提问另一位同学上一位同学的周末活动,自然过渡到幻灯片8)

T:What does he do at weekends?

S: He flies a kite at weekends.

T: What does she do at weekends?

S: She dances at weekends.

T:What do they do at weekends?

S: They play football at weekends.

T: Now, you know my weekends. How about students? Let’s look. Who are they?

2. Look and say

(让学生判断时可以说出错误原因)

(先给学生示范圈一个频率副词,因为学生不一定知道什么是频率副词)
