《Unit8 Holidays》教学设计

课题:牛津小学英语6A第六单元《Holidays》第一教时(PartA

教材简解:本单元围绕“谈论节日里所做的事”这一话题展开教学活动。让学生了解有关东西方节日风俗习惯,并能用新的语言表达方式谈论节日中的活动。

目标预设:

1、语言知识目标:

1. 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词和词组:New Years Day,Christmas,people,had,went.

2. 能听懂、会说、会读单词和词组:Spring Festival,Mid-Autumn Festival,relative,didnt,delicious,favourite,dress up.

3. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型: Did you ? Yes, I did. No, I didnt.

(4).了解各个节日的风俗习惯。

2、情感目标:

让每个学生都能积极主动参与教学活动,发挥学生的主观能动性,帮助他们增强学英语的信心。培养学生在小组活动中团结互助,与他人合作完成学习任务的精神。

教学重难点:

能用句型“Did you?”比较自然、熟练地询问别人去年如何过节日。

设计理念:突出以学生为主,教师为辅的教学思想;创设情景,营造氛围,体现语言教学的真实性,锻炼学生口语表达能力。采用活动途径,激发学生学习兴趣。

设计思路:本节课以一个Chant 开头,让学生初步了解一些节日,同时又活跃了课堂气氛。接着教师与学生谈论了本课涉及到的节日,较自然地学了本课的新单词和重要句型.最后通过多个任务来学习课文,让学生在听、说、读、写各方面都有所提高。

教学过程:

 

1.Greeting.

 

2. Warming up

 

T: Therere lots of holidays in a year. What are they? ( 课件出示)

 

Let’s enjoy the holidays.

 

Ss say a chant.

 

Sing and dance, laugh and play, eat nice food at New Year’s Day.

 

Go to the hill, go to the bay, go to the park at May Day.

 

Let’s play games.” We happily say. We have a good time at Children’s Day.

 

Dear mum, China. It’s your birthday. Happy birthday to you. It’s National Day.

 

3. Free talk

 

教师选择一个即将到来的圣诞节作为切入口,通过Free talk 的形式,引出其它节日单词和本课的新句型。

 

T: Boys and girls, what date is it today?

 

S: It’s the 18th of December.

 

T: When’s Christmas?

 

S It’s on the 25th of December.

 

T: The Christmas is coming soon.

 

  So we’re getting very excited.

 

  What do you usually do at Christmas?

 

S: I usually…

 

T: Do you usually have a party?

 

S: No, but sometimes we have.

 

T: Did you have a party last year?

 

S: Yes, I did./No, I didn’t.

 

4 .Presentation and practice

 

(1)、通过学生和教师的Free talk, 引出本课的句型。Whens? Its in  What do people usually do at? They   Did you last ? Yes, I did./ No, I didnt.

 

学生按照句型模式进行小组操练,谈论他们所进行的活动。

 

(2)、教师出示有关春节活动的两张图片(走亲访友图和请客吃饭图),让学生猜是什么节日,教师引出新词 Spring Festival, 然后让学生讨论在春节他们中的一些活动,逐步引出新单词和词组delicious, relative, lots of delicious food, visit ones relatives.

 

T: Here are two pictures for you. Look at them and please guess what festival it is.

 

S: …..

 

T: It’s  Spring Festival.

 

  学生口头操练Spring Festival,然后教师用提问的方式引出单词delicious, relative

 

T: What do you usually do at the Spring Festival?

 

S1: I stay at home and watch TV.

 

S2: I like sleeping.

 

T: You sleep a lot at the Spring Festival.

 

S3: I usually visit my grandparents with my parents.

 

T: Do you visit your friends?

 

S3: Yes.

 

T: I often visit my friends and my relatives.

 

  引出单词relative和词组visit ones relatives并进行操练。

 

  Do you usually visit your relatives at  Spring Festival?

 

S: Yes, I did./ No, I didn’t.

 

T: What else do you usually do at…?

 

S: I eat a lot of food.

 

T: I think the food is very nice, very delicious. (教师可通过动作和面部表情的演示让学生理解词义)。操练单词,注意在第二个音节上重读。

 

(3)、照本课的句型模式操练对话, 首先教师示范,然后学生小组操练。

 

  A: When’s  Spring Festival?

 

      B: It’s in January or Februaty.

 

A: What do you usually do at…?

 

B: I … 

 

A: Did you …last …?

 

      B: Yes, I did./ No, I didn’t.

 

(4)、用同样的方法新授其他节日单词 New Years Day, Mid-Autumn Festival,Halloween,继续巩固重点句型Whens? Its in  What do people usually do at? They   Did you last ? Yes, I did./ No, I didnt.

 

5. Teach the dialogue.

 

1) T: David and Su Hai had a good time last year. Do you know, what did they do last New Year and Spring Festival. Let’s listen and find.

 

(课件出示课文插图,播放录音)

 

Q: What did David do last New Year?

 

  What did Su Hai do last Spring Festival?

 

2) Do some exercises

 

Choose the right answer

 

Did David …?    A. go traveling   B. go to a party    C. have a big dinner

 

What did Su Hai do? She visited relatives and friends and  ate lots of delicious food.

 

3) Open the books and read the dialogue together.

 

6.Consolidation

 

  让学生围绕中西方传统节日,进行自由的对话交流。以本课的重点句型为主,同时结合旧知。

 

 

 

7. Homework.

 

1.. Preview the new words in Part B. Say something about your favourtie holiday.

 

2. Write a passage about your own Spring Festival.
