一、教学内容
《义务教育课程标准实验教科书牛津小学英语》6A第五单元第三教时(Listen, read and say)。
二、教学目标
a. 掌握单词、词组:holiday, National Day, before, wonderful
能用 holiday, before, wonderful 扩词
b. 能理解、朗读课文内容,用所给词汇复述课文,并能用所学知识谈论好朋友的假期。
三、教学重点
能正确理解、掌握课文内容,能朗读课文、用过去时态问答课文内容。
四、教学难点
能较流利地用过去时态问答、复述课文、谈论朋友的假期。
五、课前准备
a. PPT课件、白纸(每人一张)
b. 板书准备:预先写好 My friend’s National Day holiday
六、教学过程
A Free talk (约5分钟)
T: Today, I’m very happy and excited, because we are having the lesson in this bright and big classroom. How are you today?
S: ...
T: What date is it today?
S: It’s the 10th of October.
T: Yes, it’s weekend again. Do you remember last Friday, did we have lessons?
Ss: No.
T: What did you do?

B Presentation and practice (约20分钟)
1. 接着Free talk 的对话引出新授词汇 holiday, National Day holiday
T: I went shopping with my family. There were so many people there. You know why?
Because it was the National Day holiday. We didn’t go to school from the 1st. to the 7th of Oct. We were on holiday.
(新授、朗读holiday National Day holiday)
T: Do you know any other holidays?
(学生用holiday组词。)
S: …
T: I spent a nice National Day holiday. I visited Yixing and I went to Hongmei Park.
How did you spend your National Day holiday?
S: (学生用过去时回答这个问题。)
2. 引入A部分课文的旁白部分
T: Now I know some of you had a wonderful holiday. And today, we are going to learn Part A of Unit 5 On the farm. It is about Helen’s and Nancy’s National Day holiday, too. First, let’s read the narration of Part A. Try to read it first.
(学生自由朗读。)
T: Who can read it loudly for us?
S: …
T: You read very well, thank you.
(老师朗读旁白部分。)
T: It was the National Day holiday last week. Today is the first day of school after the holiday.
So what date is it?
S: It’s the 8th of October.
T: Clever, because we had a 7-day holiday.
T: Helen goes to school early. Do you remember early? What time does she go to school, guess?
S: I think she goes to school at six.
T: Oh, that’s very early.
(让两三个学生猜猜Helen几点上学。)
T: I always come to school very early, too, at about ten past seven. Let’s go on. She meets Nancy in the school playground before class. Here we’ve got a new word, before.
(出示一些学过的单词:behind beside fork horse 让学生自己读出生词:before)
T: We know the phrase after class, here is before class, can you make a phrase with before?
S: (学生用before 扩词。)
T: Let’s read the passage together.
Ss: (齐读短文。)
T: Now please ask and answer the questions about this passage.

(和同桌问答练习。)
3. 谈论Nancy的国庆假期。
T: Helen and Nancy meet in the playground. What are they talking about? Guess please.
S: They are talking about their National Day holiday.
T: Yes, you are right. First, let’s listen to Nancy’s holiday.
(听录音,再回答问题。)

4. 谈论Helen的假期。
T: I think Nancy had a nice holiday with her parents. How about Helen? Did she spend a nice holiday, too? Look at these pictures. Where did Helen go in the holiday?
S: She went to a farm.
T: Yes, she visited a farm with her family. Look, what did they do on the farm?
(学生根据图片说说Helen和她的家人在国庆节做了些什么。老师根据实际回答和学生适当拓展谈话内容。)
T: Who can tell us about Helen’s National Day holiday?
S: (学生根据短语提示复述这一段课文。)
T: Nancy had a nice holiday, and I think Helen had a wonderful holiday. She visited a farm.

T: What does wonderful mean in English?
S: It means very good.
S: It means great.
T: Very good. We say a wonderful holiday, can you make a phrase with wonderful?
(学生用wonderful扩词。)
5. 自由朗读课文,再齐声朗读。
6. 做课后练习并校对。
C Consolidation (约14分钟)
T: We’ve learned a lot about Nancy’s and Helen’s National Day holiday. During this holiday, I also had a wonderful time with my family. Do you want to know? Please look and listen:
(看图听录音, 再回答问题。)
