【教学目标】

【课前准备】
1.常规预习：
①完成一起作业Cartoon time的全文朗读和跟读训练，并尝试翻译。
②试着理解并演唱Polly,put the kettle on。
科普小知识：
ladybird是指瓢虫。瓢虫是一种体色鲜艳的小型昆虫，两鞘翅上有红、黑或黄的斑点。瓢虫的种类很多，不同种类的瓢虫习性也各有不同。
本单元里的ladybird是十星瓢虫，十星瓢虫一植物的嫩芽和叶子为食，尤其喜欢葡萄等植物，是害虫。
预习导学：
课文注释：
①Bobby grows grapes in his garden. 博比在他的花园里中了葡萄。
grow在这里用作及物动词，是“种植”的意思。
如：They grow rice on the farm. 他们在农场上种植水稻。
grow也可以用作不及物动词，表示“生长”、“成长”、“变成”等意思。
如：The grapes are growing well. 葡萄长得很好。
② Then, some ladybirds come. 后来，来了一些瓢虫。
ladybird是指瓢虫。瓢虫是一种体色鲜艳的小型昆虫，两鞘翅上有红、黑或黄的斑点。瓢虫的种类很多，不同种类的瓢虫习性也各有不同。本单元和下一个单元的卡通故事就是基于不同种类的瓢虫的习性而展开的。
③The pests go away,but the ladybirds do not.害虫走了，但瓢虫并没有走。
这个转折并列句的后半句是一个省略句，在do not后面省略了go away，目的是为了避免重复。
又如：Sam is happy, but Bobby is not.萨姆是开心的，但是博比不是。（省略了happy）
go away在这里是“走开”、“离开”的意思。
如：Wait here. Don’t go away. 等在这里，表走开。

so sweet 非常甜 go away 走了，离开
put the kettle on 把壶放到炉子上 We’ll all have tea. 我们都要喝茶。
take the kettle off 把壶拿下来 They’ve all gone away. 他们都走了。
